The Journey
Based in the heart of Bowmanville Ontario, Ashmiza Beauty is a plant-based luxury skincare business inspired by the rich resources found in nature. While my passion to create and bring joy to other people’s live has been present since childhood, the desire to formulate effective, plant-based skincare products initially began out of necessity to improve the skin health and beauty concerns of yours truly. Trying to manage a number of skin issues and concerns for much of my life led me to the use of natural ingredients to find some relief, and I quickly learned about the power and effectiveness of these ingredients on my skin.
To date, much of the attention on skincare tends to focus on what we see above the neck. Antioxidant rich extracts and soothing botanicals are typically reserved for facial skincare products, while synthetic and less than beneficial ingredients often become the foundation for body care products. However, for many people (myself included) skin care concerns can extend well beyond the face. Skin sensitivity, acne prone skin, hyperpigmentation and scarring can be found on any part of the body, and I felt it was important to treat the skin below the neck with an equal amount of attention and care, using the same quality of ingredients found in facial skincare products; it is all skin after all! The result: rich, indulgent botanical forward body oils, creams and butters that focus primarily on the parts of the body that need just as much pampering and care.
Harmony is at the heart of Ashmiza Beauty, and it is reflected in everything we do; from the products we offer, to the combination of carefully selected ingredients found in the skincare and home fragrance products that I love to create. I take pride in creating a professional range of products that have been designed to contain a powerful combination of ingredients that pamper and benefits the skin.
